Meet Dr. Nina Khedkar

Dr. Nina Khedkar is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and has been practicing orthodontics for almost 20 years. Born in New Jersey, she received her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to her dental and orthodontic training, she received a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University, which makes her a “Triple Jumbo.” During dental school, Dr. Khedkar was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honors society. She also received the American Association of Orthodontists Award and the Association of Tufts Alumnae Senior Award.

After completing her training, Dr. Khedkar practiced in Fort Worth, TX before returning to Massachusetts. Dr. Khedkar is dedicated to clinical excellence and focused on total patient care. To this end, she participates in study clubs and attends a multitude of continuing education courses. She has completed an Invisalign Fellowship, a course in partnership with Wharton Business School called Mastering the Business of Orthodontics, and obtained certification by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Khedkar loves working with patients of all ages and creating beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

Dr. Khedkar currently resides in Needham with her husband and beloved cat, Stella. When she’s not creating beautiful smiles at Charles River Orthodontics, Dr. Khedkar enjoys Pure Barre, spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the local food and culture scene. Dr. Khedkar loves exploring new restaurants – so don’t be surprised if she recommends a restaurant or two during your appointment!
